Lord Venkateshwara Charitable Trust

The Lord Venkateshwara Charitable Trust bears the responsibilities of VH Group’s major social actvities. Since 1980, it has carried out several projects, individually as well as in association with other NGOs and Charitable Organizations. These projects have covered a wide spectrum from educating tribals, villagers and rural dwellers in manners of health, helping them achieve economic self-sufficiency and providing relief during difficult times.

Over the past 24 years, the Trust has received overwhelming support from all corners of the country besides winning the confidence of the villagers themselves.

The Trust has often undertaken wide-scale programmes, such as the Health Care Administration of 24 villages in Ander Maval which covered a population of 20,000 during the time of the undertaking, and a Leprosy Eradication Programme, sponsored by Emmaus of Switzerland, in 165 villages.

Venkateshwara Hospital
Established in 1980, and headquartered in Pune, it has branches in Hyderabad, Hosur (Est. 1981), and Nellore (Est. 2003). The hospitals are located in the rural belts of their respective regions, with one full time doctor and one visiting doctor. Patients avail the services of a weekly Pediatrician visit.

Venkateshwara School
Established in 1988, the school is located at Girinagar village, near Pune, that imparts education through the English and Marathi mediums. With a modest beginning of just the initial grades, the school now provides education from Primary through the SSC Level. With the teaching capacity of 36 teachers catering to 1000 students it has maintained 100% SSC results to date.

Venkateshwara Mobile Clinic
This unique clinic provides free medical check-up and subsidised medicines, covering over 12 villages in the vicinity of Girinagar village. It also extends free medical check-ups to farm employees of VH Group in this region.

Venkateshwara Hospital
Established in 2003, this hospital provides all modern amenities and is situated in Nellore, Andhra Pradesh.

Sri Venkateshwara Swamy Temple
Established in 2003, the temple is located at Ketkawale, Pune. This Temple is an replica of the original Venkateshwara temple at Tirupathi, AP. This temple will be easily accessible to devotees from North and West who will find it difficult to travel to Tirupathi.
