  • Periodical Farmers’ Workshops – to upgrade their knowledge about recent developments in Poultry Management.
  • Institute in association with Educational Media Research Center, University of Pune, has prepared audio-visual programs to enlighten the school students about the potential of Poultry in providing gainful employment, specially in rural areas.
  • In association with Poultry Diagnostic and Research Center, Venkateshwara Hatcheries P. Ltd. the Institute has published literature on topics of importance to poultry farmers, e.g. Mycotoxins, Infectious Bursal Disease, etc.
  • Faculty of the Institute participates in Technical Seminars/Workshops/Lectures, etc. for imparting latest technologies in Lab-to-Land programme.
  • Engaged in conducting/organizing Seminars/Workshops/Conferences, etc. e.g. – during 2001, in association with World’s Poultry Science Association – India Branch, the Institute organized the First South Asian Regional Poultry Conference and Exhibition at Pune, India. Nine hundred and seventy delegates including students and scientists from South Asian countries, UK, USA, and WPSA sponsored delegates from Israel and Australia attended the Conference. A total of 315 scientific papers/abstracts and 73 Posters were presented at this Conference.
