Venflox belongs to the group of fluoroquinolones. Venflox is a bactericidal in action. Inhibits the replication of bacteria by inhibition of bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase.Venflox is very rapidly absorbed and distributed in body tissues

Composition

Each ml of Venflox contains

Enrofloxacin  100 mg

Aqueous base Q.S.

Indications

  • For prevention and treatment of infectious diseases caused by Mycoplasma, Gram -positive and Gram -negative organisms
  • Chronic Respiratory Disease caused by Mycoplasma gallisepticum, Mycoplasma synoviae, Mycoplasma meleagridis etc and mixed infection with E. coli.
  • Infections caused by Gram -negative organisms like E.coli, Salmonella Spp., Haemophillus spp., Pasteurella spp., Compylobacter spp., pseudomonas spp. Etc.
  • Infections caused by Gram -positive organisms like streptococcus spp., staphylococcus spp., clostridium spp., etc.

Dosage:

Prevention
0.025 to 0.05 ml Venflox per kg body weight in drinking water. (1ml Venflox per 2-4 litre of drinking water)

Treatment
0.05 to 0.1 ml Venflox per kg body weight in drinking water. ( 1 ml Venflox per 1-2 litre of drinking water) For 3-5 days, or as directed by Veterinarian
