Delivering your feed undamaged to your livestock The heart of the Roxell Flex-Auger and Multiflex is the center-less auger, which allows your feed, in the form of meal or pellets, to remain intact during transport. The outlets fit perfectly around the transport tube, so that the feed keeps its nutritive quality and is always fresh when it is served to the animals. The upper boot with smooth inner side guarantees a "first-in-first-out" feed flow. The lack of corner wheels prevents the pellets from being crushed or the meal from being ground into dust.
For any house layout Flex-Auger and Multiflex consist of a combination of a flexible, center-less auger with elbows and tubes made of NOVICOR. This way, the Roxell transport systems can be used in any type of house. The position of the bin is not important in this respect. The boot is universal, so that it can be used on any type of bin. It is available in single, double, and quadruple version and can be placed either horizontally or in 30-degree position. Several diameters are available, depending upon the capacity you require. Flex-Auger is available in dia. 56 mm (2 1/8"), 75 mm (3"), 90 mm (3 1/2") and 125 mm (5"). Multiflex is available in dia. 56 mm (2 1/8") and 75 mm (3").
User-friendly The outlets are extremely easy to operate for shut-off and opening. A removable hatch in the metal part of the boot allows for a quick supervision. The feed flow to your transport system can be shut off by means of a slide. In order to adjust the outflow capacity, you can use the flow regulator, which is standard on each boot. Your transport system is operated by means of a simple switchbox, whether or not programmable, or by means of the feeding system control panel.
Many years of operational safety Reliable and safe The drive unit of your Flex-Auger transport system is equipped with a reliable safety switch, which prevents overloading. Through an inspection hatch, you can quickly remove any storage objects from the feed. The Multiflex transport system is equipped with a special gear wheel, which gently guides the auger and ensures a supple auger guiding. An energy-saving motor reductor (0.37 to 1.1 kW), lubricated for life, provides the driving force for your transport system. It comes up to the IP54 standard and therefore, is a dust-tight and splash proof. For end switch purposes, there is a simple, but very safe-to-operate mechanical end switch or a sensor-end switch, possibly with adjustable delay. Durable: 10 year pro rata warranty on the auger! Our world famous Roxell auger, made of special steel, is a first-class combination of solidity and flexibility. All tubes and elbows are made of NOVICOR. This synthetic material, which is a Roxell exclusive, is extremely UV-and-wear-resistant. Thanks to the low friction co-efficient, the feed does not stick to the inner side of the tube or elbow. NOVICOR resists high concentrations of ammonia, and can be easily cleaned with the current detergents.
Special applications Intermediate Boot An intermediate boot allows you to double the standard lengths or take turns of 90 °, when there is no space for elbows. Tandem Our tandem system consists of a fixed connection between two bins and a transport system to the house. One motor at the end provides the driving force. A safe-to-operate and energy-saving solution. Metal version of the Flex-Auger ® For applications which require a very high wear resistance, e.g. especially for laying houses. The elbows and tubes are made of tempered steel.
