Feed Bin (Silo)
 An extensive range of feed storage bins.
 Roxell feed bins can be filled either pneumatically or mechanically
- On our pneumatic types, a feed distributor at the inlet eliminates feed separation. An optimal aeration prevents your feed from being compressed, so that it sinks and flows very easily later on.
- Opening the bin lid in the case of mechanical filling can be done from the ground. The lid can be opened very wide so that enough room is created for the tilling auger.

 Your feed tip-top fresh
- Excellent feed storage - the combination of a heavy galvanized layer and corrugated sheets guarantees an excellent light reflection. This avoids any greenhouse effect inside the bin.

 Excellent feed flow
- The inside of the cone has a special coating with a low co-efficient of friction. This way, you get a perfect feed flow of most common kinds of feed.
- The feed viewer windows, built in the bin body, enable you to check the feed level inside the bin.
- A discharge hole with a diameter of 40 cm (15 3/4") guarantees a positive flow of the feed into the transport system.

 Long durability and little maintenance
- Little maintenance - a smooth feed flow and trustworthy workmanship, both inside and outside, make sure that your Roxell bin requires very little maintenance. All bolt heads, visible from the outside, are plastified. This extra bolt protection enhances the bin's water resistance and prevents corrosion. The galvanization thickness of the Roxell bin is about 15% higher than the standard norm. Therefore, we can grant you a five years' guarantee against rust.
- Solid steel construction - Roxell bins are mode of high-quality steel (one class higher than standard steel) and have been statically calculated based on the German DIN norms. The legs have special anchors made of heavy plates that keep the bin firmly on the concrete foundation. Strong supports between the legs of the bin and the collar make the bin very stable.

 Options
- Roxell bins diameter 1.80 m (6 ft) on extended legs can be equipped with a bin valve. This enables you to draw off feed without having to use a transport system (cfr. EL Types in table Types and Technical Specifications).
- By means of a hopper valve, you can draw off little amounts of feed directly from the bin. This is available on all bin types.
- For each bin type you can order a short or a long (odder and a safety cage. Roof ladders are available for the 2.10m (7 ft) and the 2.75 m (9 ft) bin types.
- A solid manhole in the body is a practical option if you want to clean the inside of the bin thoroughly.
